Trade organization, Airlines for America, lays out strict guidelines for aviation refueling companies to follow during operation. ATA Specification 103, which is the “Standard for Jet Fuel Quality at Airports,” requires disposal of jet fuel that has been tested in a white bucket test.
Here at Westmor Industries, we’ve developed a Mobile Testing Fuel System that allows refueler operators the ability to bypass disposal of tested fuel while remaining compliant with ATA 103.
How it works:
Fuel is pumped out of your tank through the unit’s filter sump hose into a clear sample jar where you can easily point out any contaminants. If the fuel is does not meet requirement cleanliness, you can drain it to a white bucket and dispose of it properly. If the fuel is clean, it is transferred to an onboard reclamation tank, where it is filtered and can be pumped back to your original tank through a closed loop system.
- Average annual savings of $15,000
- Gallons of gas reclaimed from quality control tests
- Reduced disposal costs
- Unit is compatible with pre-blended and straight jet fuel
